Serendipitous Things

Serendipitous Things is a documentarian-style project that creates zines based on everyday objects that come across or have specific meaning in the artists’ life. The first zine (pictured left) was printed in 2021 for a zine exchange while at the Women’s Studio Workshop in Kingston, NY, and the second zine (pictured right), was printed in the Spring of 2023 as part of a small edition of 15. The artist will complete the next zine in the series in the Summer of 2024.
My Body is a House

My Body is a House is an accordion artist book which narrates my personal experiences with body dysmorphia and alludes to how those struggles interact with my identity. The book includes The written text on the folding windows of the book is an excerpt from a poem I wrote earlier this year which writes:
A home that has no place,
the outfit I wear to sleep, eat, and work in, everyday.
Warm and comforting, yet unnerving and indifferent.
Miraculous, fluorescent, endearing, and unusual.
Uncertain of where it will take me but at peace with my home.
