An Ode to Wild is a multi media piece which honors the Mary Oliver poem, “Wild Geese”. The poem is repeated in the small accordion artist book and printed on kozo paper with opaque pearly ink. In addition, the fabric scarves inside of the clamshell box are printed with cyanotype and incorporate objects collected around the varying landscapes around Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
The quilted jacket also includes cyanotype printed fabric using coastal objects from Cape Cod. The jacket includes and is lined with found and gathered fleece and cotton linen fabrics.
